The SEPTA Transit Watch App provides the public with a convenient and discreet way to report suspicious activity directly to the police. Users can easily send pictures, text messages, and locations of any suspicious individuals or activities.

On the home screen, users have two simple options for contacting the SEPTA transit police:

• The "Report a Problem" button allows users to send texts or photos directly to the SEPTA Transit Police. To ensure privacy, the app automatically disables the camera flash when taking photos. When reporting an issue, users can select specific locations and report categories to assist the SEPTA Transit Police. Riders also have the option to send reports anonymously.
• The "Call SEPTA Police" button connects customers directly to the SEPTA Transit Police.

This application is specifically designed for SEPTA. If you submit a report in an area without cellular connectivity, it will be stored and sent once connectivity is restored. The system is also designed to prioritize sending text messages over pictures, ensuring that the SEPTA Transit Police receive app reports as quickly as possible.

Additional Features:

• BOLO (Be On the Look Out) Alerts: The app may display alerts from SEPTA Transit Police regarding specific persons of interest. These alerts could include information about missing persons or children, such as their last known location. If you encounter someone from a BOLO alert, immediately call 911 and discreetly send an app report to the SEPTA Transit Police.
